This healthy and tasty snack is simple to prepare.
A 15 Ounce Can Of Garbanzo Beans Drained And Rinsed
Three Tablespoons Of Olive Oil
Three Cloves Of Minced Garlic
Three Teaspoons Of Tahini Ground Sesame Seed Paste
1/2 Teaspoon Of Cumin
The Juice Of 1/2 Lemon
A Tablespoon Of Chopped Fresh Italian Parsley
A Tablespoon Of Chopped Fresh Basil
A Teaspoon Of Sea Salt
Three Drops Of Frank’s Louisiana Hot Sauce
Place all of the ingredients into a food processor. Pulse until a smooth paste is achieved. Note: Add more olive oil if the mixture is too thick and will not blend. After the desired consistency is attained, taste and add more sea salt and/or hot sauce, if desired.
This hummus can be served with pita chips or your favorite cracker.
