Roasted Whole White Mushrooms

These mushrooms are a perfect accompaniment to a good steak.

12 Ounces Of Whole White Mushrooms

A Tablespoon Of Chopped Shallot

A Garlic Clove Minced

Three Teaspoons Of Balsamic Vinegar

Three Tablespoons Of Olive Oil

Two Fresh Italian Parsley Stalks

Two Fresh Thyme Sprigs

A Teaspoon Of Sea Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Of Ground Black Pepper

Into a mixing bowl, add the sea salt, pepper, garlic, shallot, and balsamic vinegar. Whisk until well blended. While whisking, slowly drizzle in the olive oil. Continue to whisk until the dressing is well blended. Add the mushrooms, parsley stalks, and thyme sprigs to the dressing. Mix well so that the mushrooms get well coated. Let the mushrooms marinate for at least a half hour.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Pour the mushrooms into a shallow baking dish. Roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
